About Our Baby Carriers
Safety First
The safety of you and your baby is of the utmost importance and tops our design agenda above all else.
Our baby carriers undergo rigorous testing above and beyond the basics. Our carriers are first off tested to the Central European Norm: CEN/TR 16512:2015 Child use and care articles – Guidelines for the safety of children’s slings and further tested to the British Standard BS EN 13209-2:2005 Child Use and Care Articles – Baby Carriers – Safety Requirements and Test Methods Part 2: Soft Carrier.
Then the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) conducts a review of our carriers to ensure that they are a "hip-healthy" product. This is especially important during the early stages of hip development in the first few months after birth.
The laboratory is ideal for implementing repeat stress testing, but nothing beats reality to identify hidden weak points. So last but not least we put our baby carriers through their paces in the real world for the complete lifecycle of the product.
All Beauden the Label baby carriers are fully compliant to our exhaustive test schedule.
Product Description
Our baby carrier is made from an organic cotton and linen blend. The carrier is ready to go from birth all the way up to 15kg and can be adjusted in the head support and leg holes to tailor to your baby's size as they grow. The carrier can take your baby facing in or facing out and is also designed to transition into a back wearing position, whereby the shoulder straps are shortened, and clipped into their adjacent sides.
The shoulder straps are adjustable, allowing all adults to wear the same size carrier, and feature elasticated safety loops that offer an additional safety measure should the clip falter.
*matt gold and nickel details are descriptive terms given the metallic finish of the buttons. The buttons are not solid gold or nickel.
